Publisure uses business rules to monitor correspondence submitted to the central hub and identify customers who have registered a mobile telephone number and chosen to receive texts.
Typically, Publisure business rules are looking within a document for a unique customer ID such as Council tax number or national health number which will identify the recipient with 100% accuracy. Publisure will then use a look up table to check if the customer has registered and act accordingly.
Further functionality can include giving the customer the opportunity to accept or decline and appointment or even embedding a web link to further information relevant to the appointment.
Use our mail merge feature and insert names, appointment times or other details into your messages for that extra special message. You can also brand your text by setting the Sender Name on the SMS message as your company name for maximum impact.
